With more than 25 years of experience, Diana Kantner specializes in data analytics, damage calculations, future liability forecasting, predictive modeling, and claims management for companies facing complex liability claims and litigation disputes. Her experience includes insurance claims analysis involving environmental liabilities, asbestos, PCBs, Agent Orange, silicone breast implants, sexual abuse claims, and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Over her career, she has prepared and presented claims to London Market, Bermuda, and U.S. carriers, helping clients secure billions of dollars in recoveries.
Diana also has experience developing and preparing first-party business interruption losses and property damage claims. She has extensive knowledge of the insurance claims process, including damage quantification, insurance policy analysis, allocation modeling, and the development of negotiating strategy.
Diana is highly regarded for her strategic approach to dispute resolution. She provides expert opinions and reports grounded in rigorous methodologies and industry best practices, with a focus on damages quantification and the application of allocation methodologies across diverse and complex insurance policies. Her experience includes international arbitration proceedings in London.
Prior to joining KCIC, Diana was a Managing Director at The Claro Group in their Disputes, Claims, and Investigations practice group; Director of Financial Management for Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine; and she started her career at Arthur Andersen in their Financial Advisory Services practice.
Outside of KCIC, Diana enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at her children’s school and in her community, traveling, and cooking.
