Another year of intensive recruiting has proven successful — we’ve added seven new consultants to KCIC! As we shared in the spring, we are delighted to welcome new hires who “get” our company and reflect our core values.

Our new hires hail from five prestigious schools: Johns Hopkins University, University of Virginia, George Washington University, College of William and Mary, and the University of Richmond.

As a group, they come to us with a variety of unique experiences and knowledge. While many have a core business background — including finance, marketing and entrepreneurship — they also bring a mix of perspectives from systems engineering, international relations and sustainability. Among the seven, they are fluent in three languages: Spanish, French and Arabic.

Also interesting is how these newest recruits made the most of their summer, before starting their first full-time jobs. From road tripping in California and cruising around Alaska to backpacking through Europe, we see they’re an adventurous bunch!

In surveys they completed their first day, our new consultants describe themselves as determined, easy-going, inquisitive and competitive. They are also team-oriented and see the value of personal responsibility and integrity. A few once saw themselves becoming lawyers, engineers, or even members of the CIA. Wherever the future takes them, we are extremely lucky to have these bright individuals start their careers at KCIC.
